Volunteers play instrumental roles in the lives of seniors at Weinberg Campus
Variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups
Giving is one of the reasons why people volunteer. Their contributions to others and to their communities bring them feelings of self-fulfillment and the knowledge that they have made a difference. Volunteers are instrumental to the lives of the residents of Weinberg Campus, a senior care facility providing eight specialized living environments and a wide range of services. Weinberg Campus is currently seeking volunteers to assist its senior residents with a variety of tasks.
Volunteers become a part of the Weinberg Campus family by assisting with activities, programs, and departments. Volunteering is a rewarding experience that many people can benefit from, including individuals, families, and students, as well as youth and community groups. They often set their own schedules, serving residents on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Volunteers may also assist during special events that happen throughout the year.
Long-term and short-term volunteer opportunities are available that can accommodate both individuals and groups. There is always a resident that could use a visitor, a special event that requires assistance, or a service that could be provided.
Volunteer opportunities include: activity and day program assistants, centerpiece designer, deli server, friendly visitor, gift shop attendant, office assistant, sewer, and many more.
