The Greater Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America is seeking a savvy public relations counselor to serve as a member of its marketing communications committee. The committee is comprised of volunteer professionals from various disciplines working together to craft GNFC's strategic communications plan.

Members of the committee provide real-world perspective, direction, guidance and some hands-on support. The committee meets formally six to eight times a year for approximately 90 minutes. These meetings are generally held either at the Council Service Center on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga or at the offices of one of the volunteer members. Pressing topics and discussions are handled via e-mail as necessary.

The Greater Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves approximately 10,000 youth, both male and female, in Erie and Niagara Counties. We also have more than 4,000 adult volunteers working in support of our youth.
