 Description:

How much more effective could your last advertising campaign have been if you knew the ins and outs of media buying?

Have you ever been asked to purchase radio, TV or print advertising and found yourself staring blankly, nodding, and signing off on the sales rep's proposal without really knowing what you are buying?  Would you invest $20,000 on a car that you knew nothing about?  Nope.  So why do that with media buying?

Join some of the area's best media buyers, including Eric Mower & Associates' Suzanne Badgely and Travers Collins & Company's Kathleen Anderson, who will provide a comprehensive and easy-to understand overview of purchasing ads from local TV, radio and print outlets.  What stations work best for you?  Which give the best "bang for the buck?"  How much should you buy?  Where can money be saved?  Simply put, this session is a must if you have or will ever be involved in media buying.

This is the second session in PRSA Buffalo/Niagara's signature Sunrise Seminar Series.  Programs are held each Thursday at 8 a.m. (registration begins at 7:45 a.m.) at Daemen College.  Each program is $20 ($25 for non-members) and includes a continental breakfast.
