Public Relations STUDENT Society of America: Buffalo Niagara Chapters
PRSSA is the premier pre-professional organization for students in public relations, communications and marketing programs. As a PRSSA member, you have many opportunities to meet communication professionals throughout Western New York in industries such as not-for-profit, agency and corporate. Through attending programs and collaborating with professionals, you will begin to build a network that will be valuable for your future, getting a real head start on your peers. Because after all, oftentimes it’s who you know that makes all the difference.
The relationship between PRSA and PRSSA is nurtured through members of the parent chapter who volunteer as professional advisors to the students and link with faculty advisors. PRSA Buffalo Niagara is privileged to have an abundance of colleges and universities within its service area, with five student chapters or groups from Buffalo State College, Canisius College, the University at Buffalo, SUNY Fredonia and St. Bonaventure University.
In most cases, PRSSA students may attend PRSA programs for free, or at a reduced cost. Be sure to check the events section of this Web site for the latest programs.
